Travel

I took an amtrak train from Raleigh to Durham.   I took an uber to Hillsborough and got sushi (i was craving sushi) at weaver street market.  Then I took an uber to Orange County Historical Museum and looked around.  I got a keychain at the museum.  I took an uber to Starbucks in Chapel Hill because I had $2 starbucks gift card remaining to use.  I took the buses back to the train station in Durham and took the train home.

 May 24, 2025 I took GoRaleigh route 11L and GoRaleigh route 9 to Raleigh amtrak station.  I stopped by a Chinese restaurant on my way to the train station and took the Carolinian to Greensboro.  I had few hours to kill before my midnight train - the Crescent - to Atlanta. may 25, 2025 This was my first time riding the Crescent train. i will get to Atlanta in the morning.  I got breakfast at Starbucks and took uber tour of tunnel.  Then i hung out at Olympic park until the ferris wheel opened at 10 am.   After the ferris 🎡 wheel,  I ate lunch at coke world and took greyhound home.  YouTube videos: https://youtu.be/UFxOcAJKJVM?si=E4VdVGijcoyn-aY_ https://youtu.be/yk4i35tJgA4?si=IZGzZOK5qG2SOSXY

 I took the buses - GoRaleigh route 11L and GoCary route 6 - to Cary, NC to downtown park.  I walked the bridge which was lit up.  I took the buses home.

 After a trip to the eye doctors, I took GoTriangle route 100 to Regional Transit Center.  On the bus, a lady was denied service and got asked to get a free umo card.  At the Regional Transit Center, I took GoTriangle route 700 to Durham Station (someone farted on the bus) and took a lyft to Bennett Place in Durham, NC.  I got some postcards ($1.50 for 3) and took some videos and photos of the site.  I then took an uber back to Durham station, got a hotdog, and took the buses home in Raleigh, NC.

March 1, 2024  I took a Lyft / uber to the Raleigh amtrak train station and paid for a train ticket to Greensboro, NC.  In Greensboro, NC, I took a bus to Tannenbaum Historic Park and took pictures and videos.  I ate at a restaurant and then took the bus back to the bus station, where I took PART route 4 to Chapel Hill, NC.  I then took Triangle Transit routes 405, 700, and 100 back to Raleigh, NC.

December 17, 2023 I arrived at my dad's house in Chesapeake, Virginia. December 19, 2023 My dad and I visited ODU, where we watched a show about what could have been the Star of Bethlehem at ODU's planeterium. December 22, 2023 My dad and I visited the Cape Henry Lighthouse.  The lighthouse was on a military base.  We were allowed to tour the Cape Henry Lighthouse but we weren't allowed to tour the new one because it was an active lighthouse.  This is a picture of the gift shop at the lighthouse.
